BELIEF #1 – WE ARE THE MOST FREE AND HAPPIEST WHEN IN A RELATIONSHIP
People can be very happy when they find success in their relationship when they have that safe harbor after being out in the chaotic world that we have. It’s important to have that place where we come home and find rest, peace, and respect with another person who knows us. Being known so well by someone is significant. If we are in a relationship we have more energy to face the dragons in our lives, we can live to fight another day. If we don’t have that, then life is difficult and can be very lonely. It’s important to have this one person that you are significant to and someone who will cherish you and love you unconditionally.
BELIEF #2 – RELATIONSHIP REQUIRES WORK
Great relationships require work and they don’t just happen overnight. I’ve seen many people who just got caught up in busy lives, trying to raise kids, buy a house, and grow their careers that they just burnt out and their relationship wasn’t satisfying anymore because they did not put enough work. It’s easy to get a divorce and just move on, but it’s not the best solution. You need to take action if you want your relationship to work.
